Pickup rates let you control whether customers pay a fee (or nothing at all) when choosing Store Pickup at checkout.

Access and enable "Pickup rates"

You can access the rates menu by accessing the App Navigation Menu -> "Carrier service rates" -> go to "Pickup rates" -> toggle the switch Enable pickup rates to activate this feature.

Choose a Pricing Policy

👉 Select the option that matches your business needs:

1. Free pickups from all locations

• • Customers won’t be charged when they select store pickup.
  • Best for businesses that want to encourage in-store collection.

2. Priced based on order value and weight

• • You can charge a fee depending on the total order price or weight.
  • Useful if pickups involve additional handling or costs.

Set the Pickup Rate Name

• In the Rate name field, enter the label that will appear at checkout.
• Example:
• • “Free Store Pickup”
  • “Pickup at Main Street Location”

Save and Test

1. Save your settings.
2. Go through a test checkout and select Pickup to verify that:

• • The correct rate name appears.
  • Pricing works as expected (free or chargeable).

Best Practices

• Use Free Pickup if you want to increase store visits and reduce shipping costs.
• If charging, make sure the pickup fee is clearly explained to customers (e.g., “Preparation fee”).
• Keep rate names short and clear to avoid confusion during checkout.
