Pickup | Main Settings

Access Pickup Settings
You can access the global pickup settings by accessing the App Navigation Menu -> "Settings"
Date Picker Settings
- Enable ✅ "Does the customer have to choose a pickup date?" if you want every pickup order to include a date.
🔹 Pro tip: Best for businesses where staff need to prepare orders in advance.
After the Date Picker is enabled, the following fields are displayed:
Number of days until customer is allowed to collect (Min days to collect) - use it to set the minimum preparation time.
Example:
1
= order must be placed at least 1 day before pickup.
Maximum number of days customers can purchase in advance (Max days to collect)
Example:
0
= no limit. Set to a specific number (e.g., 14
) if you only want customers to schedule pickups within two weeks (14 days).
- Enable ✅ Set blackout dates for all your stores to block holidays or dates when pickup is unavailable.
After the option is enabled, a calendar will be displayed, allowing you to select multiple dates on which the pickup will be unavailable.
🔹 Pro tip: If you need to change the status of a certain date that is set as a blackout date (it is marked with a black background on the calendar), click on it, and it will be deselected.
Customer Information Requirements
- Is a name required for the person who is collecting the order?
✅ Recommended — helps staff verify the correct person at pickup.
- Should the customer have to input a phone number at the cart for their collection?
✅ We recommend you to keep it checked/active - it is useful if you need to call or message them about their order.

Mandatory Pickup
Add Collections:
Select collections that must always be picked up (cannot be shipped or delivered locally).
⚠️ Important: For this to work correctly, your cart type must be set as “page” (not drawer/slide-out).
Click on "Add collections" button and a list with all your collections will be displayed. Choose the collection(s) that you'd like to be mandatory for pickup.
🔹 Pro tip: You can create special collections that include just those products mandatory for pickup in order to make sure that you are always using the right collection as mandatory for pickup.
Exclude collections | Exclude products
Collections and products added here will not display the pickup option (unless they are mandatory for pickup).
⚠️ Important: Exclude collections only work if your cart is set to “page” mode.
Please note that if an user ads both products that are excluded from pickup and products that are avialable for pickup on the shopping cart, the Store Pickup option will not be displayed.
Overriding products:
Products here can have their own pickup dates and times, overriding global settings.

Discount code
Use this option to enter a Shopify discount code that applies automatically to pickup orders.
🔹 Pro tip: You can encourage pickup with “PICKUP10” (for 10% off).
⚠️ Important: Before adding the discount in the Store Pickup + Delivery app you have to create it by accessing the "Discounts" menu in Shopify
- Delivery methods displayed on the cart by our widget - using the option you can control which fulfillment options show on the cart widget.
⚠️ Important: Pickup and Delivery are selected by default and cannot be unselected. Shipping is also selected by defult, but if you do not offer Shipping, you can unselect the Shipping option.
Extra Fields
Use the "Extra fields" options to request extra information from the customers who choose to pickup their order.
The added extra field is displayed on the "Cart" page -> Pickup In Store
⚠️ Important: the extra field is not mandatory - customers are able to continue to checkout withouth filling in any info requested by this field.
Tags
Use tags to automatically apply tags to pickup orders for easier filtering in Shopify:
- Tag order with pickup date
- Tag order with pickup time
- Tag order with pickup location
🔹 Pro tip: Using tags makes reporting and order management easier inside Shopify.
Pickup Rate Name
Use the "Pickup Rate Name" field to customize how the pickup option appears at checkout.
🔹 Pro tip: You can use: “Free In-Store Pickup” or “Collect from Main Store.”
